More Da Vinci Code

As with my other post on The DVC, I am not going to list a bunch of arguements and positions here. I will link to places where that has already been done by other people.

Here is a link to Fox News contributer Fr. Jon Morris it also contains an archive of several post regarding the DVC. This will be of use to you if you're curious about the claims in the DVC regarding; the development of Scripture, the divinity of Jesus, hidden messages in art, marriage of Jesus, Jesus the father... it is not an in depth article, just a surface example of how poorly the DVC stacks up against truth.

What a great book! We listened to it on cd, the unabridiged version, while traveling across the united states. Of course I understand most of it is ficition, still it's a great thriller.

Alas my Uncle, most people are not as smart as you. You have the fortune of great intellect and wisdom running in your family. There are people however, who are not wise or smart and they believe (or want to believe), what Dan Brown states in the beginning of his book, "all descriptions of artwork, architecture, documents and secret rituals in this novel are accurate"

just a quick point as an example

1)The Opus Dei organization which Dan Brown contends has been protecting this secret since the middle ages was founded in the 1920's by a Spanish priest named Jose Maria Escriva. They don't have monks in the organization. They do not practice mortifications.

and the priory of scion doesn't exist. (at least, that's what they tell us to say in our weekly meetings).
